Requests and data collected

You may email us with a question, correction, complaint, or request to exercise your rights. We process your email address and the information you choose to provide so that we can respond. Do not include health information, religious beliefs, identification documents, or other sensitive data in your message.

This site prototype has no data collection form. Contact links open your email application; no message is sent automatically. Information received is intended for the people authorized to handle your request. Email using the eudistes.org domain is hosted by Microsoft.

Purposes and legal bases

Routine requests are processed to respond to your message and manage website corrections, on the basis of the Congregation’s legitimate interest. Requests to exercise your rights are processed to meet obligations under the GDPR. Contacting us does not subscribe you to a newsletter, and your information will not be used for marketing.

Retention

Emails are retained for up to six months after a request is closed. Technical server logs are retained for up to six months.

Your rights

Subject to the legal basis and conditions set out in the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction, object to processing, or request data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, contact cjm@eudistes.org.

A response is generally due within one month; a reasoned extension may be possible under the conditions set out in the GDPR. Proof of identity is requested only where there is reasonable doubt. You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country, including the Italian Garante or the French CNIL.

Cookies and external content

The site prototype uses necessary local storage, “eudistes-consent-v1,” to remember your preferences for six months. It stores the date, notice version, and your choice regarding external media. No advertising or audience measurement tools are added.

YouTube videos and the page-flip reader are blocked until you consent. The page-flip reader loads resources from cjm-eudistes.org and a photograph from Unsplash. These services receive information such as your IP address and may use tracking technologies. Locally hosted PDFs remain available without accepting this content.

The Milcent, Corde Magno, and Racapé applications belong to the Eudists. Application data is processed in Canada by the Eudists. Displaying Corde Magno content on this page contacts mobirise.eudistes.net and transmits technical information, including your IP address. YouTube videos remain blocked until you consent. External services may receive your IP address and use their own tracking technologies.

Refusing consent does not prevent you from browsing. Use “Manage cookies” in the footer to change or withdraw your consent; embedded content will then be stopped. Cookies already placed by a third party may need to be deleted in your browser settings.

Service providers and transfers

The region where Microsoft email is processed, website hosting, and safeguards for any international transfers remain to be confirmed. For external services, consult their privacy notices: YouTube / Google et Unsplash. This site prototype does not make automated decisions or carry out profiling.
